Problem situations and support
All Boijs Audio Oy products are measured, tested, and inspected before delivery. A carefully designed and built product is essential for the best listening experience. However, if you notice anything unexpected or unusual, please immediately contact the retailer where you purchased the product.
The most common issues are caused by incorrectly connected speaker cables. After connecting, please check that the wires are securely attached, polarities are correct, and the '+' and '-' wires are not touching each other, which can cause a short circuit.
If there is still no sound despite correct wiring, please also consult your amplifier's manual for troubleshooting. If sound is only coming from one speaker, please check the functionality of the silent speaker by connecting it to the amplifier channel of the working speaker.
If sound is heard, the issue is likely not with the speaker. If no sound is heard, the speaker may be damaged.
Warranty
The speakers carry a three (3) year warranty from the date of purchase for both private and professional use.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover damages caused by incorrect or negligent use. Such defects include, for example, damage to the tweeter caused by a low-quality and/or underpowered amplifier.
If the speaker sound distorts, the volume must be lowered immediately. The warranty does not cover damage caused by excessive volume. Any disassembly of the product (drivers, connector panel, parts), unless otherwise stated in the instructions, will void the warranty. The seller's liability does not cover normal wear and tear, deterioration, or damage caused by external factors. Avoid direct sunlight, which may prematurely age components like the driver surrounds.
The speakers are intended for indoor use only.
Cleaning and care
We recommend using a dry microfiber cloth to clean the surface. If a stain does not come off, you can carefully try using a slightly damp cloth. Wipe away any remaining moisture with a dry microfiber cloth.
